Poverty and housing instability are complex challenges rooted in the growing gap between what families earn and what housing costs. Even parents working full-time can struggle to keep a safe roof over their children’s heads. No single program can close that gap. It requires a coordinated, community-powered response that reaches beyond crisis intervention and creates pathways to long-term stability.

Family Promise of Brevard unites families, neighbors, and local partners to keep families housed, strengthen economic opportunity, and build communities where every child can thrive. Through prevention services, stabilization supports, and access to education and employment, we help families maintain their independence, dignity, and hope.

The need is urgent. Each year, more than 3 million children in America experience homelessness. Children without a stable home face profound barriers in school and in life. Housing security is foundational to their future and to the health of our communities.

We exist to keep families safely housed today and to build stronger, more equitable communities for tomorrow.
