The Firehouse Model

The Firehouse model is simple: we meet families where they are and walk with them toward long-term stability. Our work literally centers around The Firehouse—a repurposed fire station in the heart of Cocoa where the need is greatest. It’s more than a building. It’s a model—a place where service providers work side by side to create a coordinated pathway to stability. Along the way, we connect them to trusted partners for health, housing, employment, education, and other essential supports—because no one should have to navigate crisis alone.

Our list of onsite service providers evolves as we seek to provide the many services our local community needs. From finance and education to health and career, we are committed to partnering with service providers that help families thrive. In addition, families residing in 32922 can easily access certification courses taught in our community classroom and like-minded companies and organizations can host their meetings or classes in one of our collaboration rooms.
