On Thanksgiving, my youngest son and I had the honor of helping to prepare 400 meals for our local community. The person behind the drive was a former single dad who went through our shelter program who saved up his own money to buy the materials, cook, and serve the meals out of restaurant he is now trying to purchase. He wanted to pay forward what our community had done for him by giving to our program.
Today, please consider giving whatever you can to help more families like his make their dreams come true. Every family should have a home for the holidays. Any and every amount helps to end family homelessness.
